About Us

Why We are Different

The story of Tucuxi started with the nano-tera.ch ISyPeM2 project, funded by the Swiss gouvernment. It was called EzeCHiEL at that time. We started by designing a software full of functionalities, but not enough user-oriented. At a certain stage we restarted from scratch, with a brand new user interface aiming to follow the mindset of pharmacologists. We simplified the user experience as much as possible, while keeping all the essential functionalities.
Around the graphical user interface, we built an entire Tucuxi ecosystem: A command line tool to automate verification and studies, a set of python scripts to automate retrospective studies, a web version to let people "play" with it without installing the software, and an online drug model editor to help people develop their one models.
This ecosystem is mature enough to be shared, and we are looking forward to develop further collaborations with teams interested in the spread on Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.

Why Using Tucuxi

Tucuxi is user-friendly and allows to perform the interpretation of a medical drug concentration in an easy way. It will predict the drug concentration, display percentiles, and propose drug dosage adjustments.

Why being involved

Each drug is different, and drug models are described in external files. By developing new models and by sharing them you will be part of the Tucuxi community, and will participate to the spread of TDM.

Meet The Energy

The core Tucuxi team is highly motivated and will be happy to share its energy. Together we can build a stronger ecosystem that will help clinicians to better treat their patients by giving them the right dosage.
